Added honey instead of maple syrup and frozen cherries. The cheescake mass is quite blunt so fruits and honey are a must.

Delicious but consider maple syrup, as suggested, for sweetness

Delicious! The lemon zest gives a special taste. I added some chopped pistachios and pumpking seed a some grilled papaya on the top before eating. I just will cook it next time as for me the overnight oats are in general a little bit coarse.

Not sure if I am missing something, but there was almost no lemon flavour (used the half a lemon of zest) and probably need a little bit more maple syrup. Mostly bland, the blueberries saved it

I noticed some comments where it was bland. I used Ceylon cinnamon which I think is superior in taste to usual ground cinnamon.

Loved it!

A bit bland

I thoroughly enjoyed this and would happily eat it as a dessert too. I discovered my frozen blackberries were actually raspberries and my lemon was a lime but it made no difference and tasted lovely, so this recipe has heaps of potential for future variations. Thanks TDK. 😘

Delicious! Can easily eat this a healthy pudding too!

Pleasantly surprised, you can’t taste the cottage cheese. As others have said it’s definitely enough for 2 portions, and it is dense (like a cheesecake) so i added some greek yogurt and soft raspberries to serve.

Delicious. One our go-to favorites. I use frozen organic blueberries from Costco. We eat a lot of Greek yogurt in our smoothies, so I love that this one is made with Cottage Cheese.

Replaced lemon with a Tbsp of kefir, almond milk with oat milk and maple syrup with honey. For me, the honey + blueberries were sweet enough.
It was very filling, I had 3/4 for early breakfast, then 1/4 for my mid-morning snack. 1/2 cup (or 40g) of rolled oats is usually 1 serving, so that checks out.
You really can't tell it's cottage cheese (if blended well)!

Very nice. I added seeds too which worked well. Dense consistancy I assume as it has 'cheesecake' in the title.

I agree that this is enough for two serves.
Delicious flavour.

Delicious! I personally prefer to swirl in maple syrup on the day of eating as I find the sweetness/flavour gets lost overnight. The blueberries are delicious - bursts of juicy fruitiness contrasted with the creaminess - pure yum!

Marion 2 months ago

Tastie but either reduce the oats or add more almond milk when serving. I made the portions for 2 but we will get 6 servings from that.

Wow it really does taste like cheesecake. Will up the lemon next time and reduce the oats, the portion is too big for me.

Sarah 3 months ago

I used honey in replacement of maple syrup and squeezed some lemon juice in as well.

Susan 3 months ago

I split this into 2 as I knew would be too much. Very nice and filling

Lisa 3 months ago

Loved this recipe. Really tasty and filling. I used soya milk as I prefer this to almond milk and didn’t add the maple syrup as I thought it tasted sweet enough with the blueberries.

I wasn’t sure about this but really liked. Portion size in big so enough for 2 breakfasts. Served with strawberries and Greek yoghurt on top to create a contrast. Reduced the oats slightly and increased flaxseed. Definitely would do again - don’t be put off by the cottage cheese - you don’t know it’s there!

I really enjoyed this, I threw all the ingredients together without reading the method, so I didn’t blend the cottage cheese and almond milk. It still tasted really lovely, I guess the blending would make the recipe smoother and creamier. I think if you don’t mind the texture of cottage cheese it’s a nice way to speed the whole process up if you are in a hurry or don’t have a blender.
