Method

Gather your ingredients and preheat the oven to 200°C or 180°C fan.

In a large roasting tray, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, dried oregano, sesame seeds, garlic powder and nigella seeds. Season well with salt and pepper then roast for 30 - 40 minutes, shaking the tray halfway, until golden and crispy.

Remove the chickpeas from the oven and mix with the sumac.
