Salted Chocolate & Peanut Cookies
Grain-free and super easy! You'd never know these cookies were made from protein-rich, energy-fuelling chickpeas. We've used dark chocolate ...and vitamin B-packed peanuts, but you can swap these for any other nuts or fruits! Just got back from a swim and needed a healthy snack so made these. Couldn't wait for them to cool so just eaten one warm. Yum yum yum yum 😋
This is the second time I've made these. This time I measured out 12 lumps onto a baking sheet then used a wet pastry cutter and a wet finger to push the dough down to form the cookies. Much easier.
These were inedible. The chickpea taste was so strong and even with extra cooking and chilling time they were almost runny. Would be better with chickpea flour?
Loved it! I didn’t use Maple Sirup, i would love to have a Version with less Sugar? Maybe sing Xylitol instead? Best wishes
Quick and easy and tasty!
