Method

Gather and prepare your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan. Line a small loaf tin (13.5x16.5cm) with parchment paper.

Place all ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until the maple syrup starts to bubble, then cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring often, until the syrup has reduced and thickened and all of the dry ingredients are evenly coated. Turn off the heat, lightly sprinkle with flaky sea salt and stir to combine. It won't seem like there's much liquid, but don't worry, you only need enough to act as a binder.
