Notes

The better the cacao and chocolate you use, the more delicious your mousse will be. Make sure your chocolate contains at least 80% cocoa solids and choose a raw cacao powder.

3

Place into a blender with the tofu, maple syrup and cacao powder. Blend until smooth.

4

Pour into small serving glasses and place into the fridge to set for at least 45 minutes before serving. Alternatively, chill in a bowl and spoon onto plates when you are ready to serve.

Yum! Have experimented and made it several times now with various toppings as an alternative to the olive oil and salt. Delicious with chopped hazelnuts or stewed rhubarb or raspberries or fresh strawberries.

Added water/soymilk to increase moisture to bring to pudding consistency. Tofu brand will make a difference for outcome.

This Dark Chocolate Mousse was delicious. Beautiful balance of healthy ingredients. We took Dr Rupy’s advice and added the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Cornish Sea Salt Flakes. Served with Fresh Raspberries.

Lovely alternative to classic high in sugar/saturated fat desserts.

It’s amazing! One tbsp maple syrup is enough though

Really nice. Made it with cocoa powder as that’s what I had. Especially liked the sea salt flakes with it! This is the first time I have enjoyed tofu too.

This recipe is amazing! I asked my friends what the secret ingredient is and they couldn’t pick it! I still get the feeling that I can overindulge in too much chocolate otherwise I’d eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner.

This is bloody delicious and super satisfying. I've never used silken tofu fir a desert before, it's a game changer!

Jennifer 4 months ago

it's texture is too thick. Needed to have more liquid?

Jenny 5 months ago

I had to add some water to it because there wasn’t much water in the silken tofu packet.
