Gather and prepare your ingredients.

Place the apple juice, maple syrup, and spices into a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until nearly bubbling, then turn off the heat and allow to cool.

Strain into glasses. Top with ice and sparkling water. Serve with an apple slice, if liked.

Very light and refreshing and so easy to make. Currently pregnant so this was a perfect alterntive to the usual ultra processed fizzy drinks.

It tastes refreshing with sparkling water, but it’s also good without it. I prefer it warm, but I think it’s fine cold too. It’s a perfect all-rounder.
