Notes

Tip: Processing the onion, carrots and celery in a food processor achieves a ‘meaty’ and mince-like texture.

Throughly enjoyed this. I used porcini mushrooms as I had them in the cupboard. It was very tasty and as I prepped everything in a food processor it was easy to prepare.

Great flavour and full of fresh goodness! I added red lentils to up the protein level further. I found it enough for four servings.

Lovely recipe , easy to cook. Your method instructions are excellent a few tweaks as I didn’t have basil so used mix herbs. My husband loved it and didn’t realise there wasn’t any beef mince in it ! A winner for me !

I have only ever tried tempeh once and didn’t enjoy it but this was absolutely delicious and I don’t think my husband would notice (I tried it on my own first🤣)
