Love this version of porridge for a comforting autumn / winter breakfast. I adjust the recipe to one egg per serving and use the beaten yolk to slightly thicken the cooked oats (because, what else am I going to do with the yolk?). Also add a tablespoon of flaxseeds and hempseeds to the oats before mixing in the egg whites for extra fibre and protein. And then any fruit I have around. Straight to me weekend favourites list!
Super filling! We liked this one. It had a marshmellow consistency . We used soy milk, and swapped out the almond butter for peanut butter. Need to somehow thin out the nut butter so not to make it as cakey.
Quick and easy recipe, nice taste but didn't like the texture
Not keen on the fluffy texture but c easy.
Delicious. My husband is an oats and water die hard but he really enjoyed this. Just need to work out what to do with the yolks now 🤣 might buy a carton of egg whites to make this more easily
