Method

Gather and prepare your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan.

Prick the potatoes all over with a fork. Place into the oven and bake for 45-60 minutes, until the skin is crisp and you can slide a knife easily into the centre. You can speed up cooking time by microwaving them for about 5 minutes before placing into the oven.
