drained and rinsed
red onion
finely diced
garlic cloves
grated
paprika
chipotle paste
tamari
maple syrup
julienned or cut into matchsticks
carrot

or plant based alternative
preferably wholemeal

Method

Gather your ingredients and preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).

Heat the olive oil in an ovenproof pan over a medium heat. Add the jackfruit, onion, garlic, spices, chipotle paste, tomato puree, tamari and maple syrup. Sauté for 10 minutes or until starting to soften.
