Notes

Tip : We recommend soaking chia seeds for an hour before using them to prevent bloating. For every 1 tablespoon of chia seeds use 3 tablespoons of filtered water.

Really nice. Can’t taste the zucchini at all. Quite a soft, slightly alkaline flavour. May have tasted nice with a small piece of pineapple?

It’s similar to my usual green smoothies - but I like a tangy taste rather than sweet, so I left out the maple syrup and added a 1/4 teaspoon dried chilli flakes and used a whole lemon, skin and all, but took the seeds out. I didn’t have courgette, so used avocado instead (as I usually do). I haven’t added chia seeds or peanut butter before, so that was new to me - and it turned out smooth and tasty, just as I like.

I might try this with a plant based milk next time to make it creamier but that’s maybe just personal preference
