Suggest par boils lentils prior to adding to dish.
Used yellow lentils, 160 grams of frozen spinach, which is more and cooked it for 10 in the pressure cooker!
Absolutely delicious and glad I cooked enough for tomorrow
I made this with red lentils and it was delicious.
The split peas were a little hard for me, despite longer soaking and cooking. (having seen a previous comment). Otherwise the recipe is simple and has ingredients I
usually have available.
The yellow split peas didn’t cook at all - I had just bought them the day before as I know this can happen if they are old. It was very sad. Looked amazing too!
