Nice recipe….but next time will cook a bit less time as the bran flakes burnt a little.
Great there’s no sugar…as shop bought are heavily sweetened!

No bran flakes at my house but the recipe is still great! Increased oats in place of them. Crunchy and not too sweet.

please not the photo of everything in the bowl pre-mixing shows the raisins in it and they dont go in until after baking - i got this wrong as i looked at photo not the words properly so burned my raisins!

Think this should be good however we did not know what ‘bran flakes’ we needed to use - assume not Kelloggs cereal that we have now blacklisted? We omitted this ingredient because we did not know what to buy so guess we have not achieved the high protein level we were aiming for! Please could you tell us what product and where we buy bran flakes?
