Dr Jenna Macciochi

Dr Jenna Macciochi is an immunologist, author and science communicator specialising in the relationship between the immune system, lifestyle and human health. She holds a PhD in immunology from Imperial College London and has more than 20 years’ experience spanning scientific research, biotechnology and higher education.

Jenna is the author of three books: Immunity: The Science of Staying Well, Your Blueprint for Strong Immunity and, most recently, Immune to Age. Her work explores how the immune system shapes health across the life course, including the interconnected roles of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, social connection and our wider environment.

Known for bringing scientific rigour to the wellness conversation without losing sight of the human experience, Jenna is particularly interested in moving beyond simplistic ideas of “boosting” or optimising health towards building adaptability and agency. She is also a trained breathwork and and lives in Brighton with her twins.
